What is a Capabilities Statement?
A Capabilities Statement is a concise document that summarizes what a company does, what makes it unique, and why it’s qualified to perform specific types of work — especially for government contracting or large corporate procurement.
It’s basically Resolute Elevator’s company resume — a marketing tool designed to quickly communicate your strengths, experience, and value.
A Capabilities Statement is used to:
-
Introduce your company to government agencies, prime contractors, or large buyers
-
Support your business in bidding, networking, and subcontracting opportunities
-
Establish credibility and readiness to do business in a professional and government-compliant format
It contains important information such as company capabilities, what differentiates you from the competition, corporate data, a company overview, and a list of current or previous clients.
Here’s Where You Come In
Every expert in the area of Capabilities Statements that I found said it would be crucial to get feedback on the look and design as well as the information contained. So what better way to get feedback than from the myriad of experts that visit our website daily.
Our friends from the building professionals, our many clients in governmental positions, and contractors and subcontractors we work with have more than likely had to produce, use, and consider a Capabilities Statement. So feel free to comment. And be brutal. We want the best one we can produce, so if you see something that would improve it, just say so!
If you have a comment just drop it below. In the meantime if you have a project on the horizon that needs an elevator, elevator modernization, or you are considering a new maintenance agreement click below for a consultation.

Looked it over and I think all the materials look really good. If I had one suggestion it would be to cut back on the full list of customers. We get it you have tons of clients.
It is true that we have lots of clients and that number is growing everyday. As far as the design goes we are hoping it is easy to read and not too full of words. We will adjust and thank you!
