LU/LA (Limited Use Limited Application)

These are commercial elevators that are available for customers that are in need of an elevator but do not have the space for a conventional application.
LU/LA elevators are used for low rise buildings and are substantially more cost efficient than a standard commercial elevator.

  • The pit is only 14″
  • The hoistway may be built of wood or sheet rock instead of masonry.
  • The overhead is only 134″ for new construction and 102″ existing building.

Wheelchair Lifts

Wheelchair lifts or vertical platform lifts provide cost effective access for disabled persons in residential or commercial buildings.

  • Travel: up to 14′
  • 750 lb capacity
  • Shaft enclosures (models available)
  • Interior or exterior applications
  • Automatic fire rated swing doors

The wheelchair lift can be provided with an enclosure preventing the need for costly conventional shaft construction.
