Smithfield, NC/June 28th 2017 – Resolute Elevator LLC is set to install a Modular Elevator at the Johnston County Department of Social Services located on North Street, Smithfield, NC on June 28th, 2016 at 10AM. Resolute Elevator owners will be present along with Talon Construction Inc. and The Wooten Company.

The Johnston County Department of Social Services Building, has served it’s community well over the many years at North Street, the multi-story building has gone through many changes and updates over the years. However, the subject of an elevator being installed was never one of them until the idea of a Modular Elevator was brought to the attention of the County. The Modular Elevator was to be the answer to finally bringing this older building up to ADA code without having

to give up space within the building. This 3500 pound capacity elevator would also benefit the patrons of this office with logistics and utilization of the communities resources. This modular elevator installation at Johnston County Department of Social Services will be the first of its kind in Smithfield. The modular elevator consisting of a prefabricated hoistway and pre-installed elevator equipment will be craned into position in less than an hour.
