Murdoch Development Center

​Butner, NC/October 21, 2019 – Resolute Elevator LLC is set to install a Modular Elevator at the Murdoch Development Center located at 1600 East C Street Butner, North Carolina 27509 on October 24, 2019 at 8:30am. Resolute Elevator owners will be present along with the project managers. Any interested General Contractors and Architects are welcome to attend.

Murdoch Development Center is one of three State operated Developmental Centers that provide services and support for people with developmental disabilities and significant behavioral or medical needs. The Architects for Murdoch Development Center were looking for a solution, Murdoch building is an older two-story office building that had no elevator. They needed an elevator that would be a solution to a tight construction schedule since the campus needed to remain open and accessible to its’ patrons. This modular elevator is just the innovative product that was able to keep this project on time. This modular elevator installation at Murdoch Development Center will be the first of its kind in Butner. The modular elevator consisting of a prefabricated hoistway and pre-installed elevator equipment will be craned into position in less than an hour.

The modular design reduces total installation time from several months to a week or less.
